VALUES

SUSTAINABILITY

I am acutely aware of the inherent wastefulness that comes with the nature of continuously producing shows. I do my part to limit my environmental impact by utilizing upcycled materials and purchasing secondhand whenever time and budget allows, and am constantly advocating for more means to accomplish this.

AUTHENTICITY

I am committed to portraying accurate representations of culture, nature. and intention, so I pride myself in providing thoughtful designs. My creative process includes visual research, concept sketches, and frequent collaborative conversations with my creative team. In addition, I refuse to use any form of generative AI. This entire website was built by me, and all of my work is human-made.

ACCESSIBILITY

I believe that art is for everyone, so I am committed to making my designs accessible to all. With every production I work on, I make it a point to have a conversation with the cast about allergies, sensitivities, likes, dislikes, limitations, et cetera to ensure that the performers are comfortable working with what I give them. I will always prioritize people over profits, and am always learning new ways to make theatre and all forms of art more accessible.
